I Love Hearing from Readers!
I read every review, comment, or email I get! Reviews mean the world to me, and I’m always happy to hear feedback, or what you’d love to read next!
ABOUT ME
I write the things I love to read: steamy, fun stories about ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances, smart women and men who aren’t jerks. I like to read about friendships, either close women or a good bromance. I want all the feels: the thrill of a smoldering gaze or the barest brush of fingertips, the shocked gasp at the underhanded villain, the angst of heartbreak, the joy of reunion, and of course, happily ever after!
I enjoy a sneak peek into intriguing groups, whether that be military personnel, medicine, or another culture like Greece. It’s fun to live vicariously and go sailing, diving, or rock climbing. A bit of danger always gets me going, so many of my Romances have a thriller subplot. I also write thrillers with a slow-burn romantic subplot.
I love humor and am partial to witty banter and embarrassing situations! Love is funny sometimes!
I hate to read the same old thing, with only the names and places changed, so my goal is to bring you a fresh, fun, NEW story every time, with NO CLIFFHANGERS!
More than anything, I want a rollicking, great story that I can’t put down, one where love prevails in the end, one that will whisk me away from my own tribulations.
Come join me!

Great Balls of Fire!
Tonight is the peak of the Perseid meteor shower! Photo by Colton Sturgeon, Unsplash Last night, there was a wonderful show, including some "fireballs" which are extra-vivid meteors that can leave a lasting trail. I've always loved celestial events, staying up for...
Too hot to fly?
Whew! It's hot even up here in the Pacific Northwest, and good grief--the temps down South and Southwest! Now even some commercial airlines are having flight delays because of the heat. Ordinarily, summer's a great time to fly--clear skies, great visibility, and...
Playing With Fire–and Brimstone!
Out for a training walk. Look how polite they are, and how they wag their tails like dogs when they're happy!
WOOF!
Bopped in to chat about A Boy & his Dog with Chelsey Ortega via her fabulous blog. On the Fourth of July, my dogs are always optimistic about scoring some dropped holiday food though, like Mojo, they hate the sound of fireworks, even from a distance. My earliest...
Working like a dog
Crazy summer, since I returned from overseas! Here in the rainy Pacific Northwest, one must hustle to get outdoor projects done in the summer, before the interminable rains hit again in the fall. Plus, I had a deadline for the goats! Perhaps "working like a dog" isn't...
It’s a…ShroomHenge?
For the mom who has everything..."Hey, Mom--I got you this fungus!" We had to have some trees close to the house taken down, and decided to try to make lemonade--or rather, Lion's Mane--out of that particular lemon. It's always fun to try something new, mushrooms are...
